If you’re new to the world of AI, you may be wondering what all the fuss is about. After all, it’s just a bunch of software programs, right? Well, not exactly. AI has taken off in recent years and shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, many experts believe that we are on the brink of a true AI revolution. But what is AI, and why is it growing so rapidly? We will also take a look at some of the ethical concerns surrounding AI development. So if you’re curious about this fascinating technology, read on!

What is AI?

In short, AI is a branch of computer science that deals with the development of intelligent agents. These agents are capable of autonomously carrying out tasks that would otherwise require human intervention. For example, you may have used an AI-powered chatbot to book a hotel room or order a product online. Or perhaps you’ve used voice recognition software to dictate a text message or search for information on your smartphone. These are just a few examples of AI in action.

Today — I’ll be sharing a few use cases that will blow your mind.

Marketing

If you’ve been paying attention to the marketing world at all in the last year, you’ll know that AI writing tools have taken it by storm. From AI copywriting tools like Jasper, Rytr and Copymatic, to AI designing tools like DallE, MidJourney and Stable Diffusion, artificial intelligence has truly taken up a singularity growth in this year. But what’s next for these amazing automation tools? And how will they impact humans?

To understand how AI writing tools can help humans, we first need to understand how they work. Jasper’s AI art-writing tool is powered by GPT-3, which stands for Generative Pre-Training 3. Put simply, GPT-3 is a machine learning platform that is designed to read and write based on a set of training data. In other words, it’s designed to mimic human writing.

So how does this work in practice? Let’s say you’re a marketer who wants to create a Facebook ad campaign. You could sit down and brainstorm a bunch of different ad copy options yourself. Or, you could use OpenAI or Midjourney to generate dozens of options for you in seconds. All you need to do is input a few parameters, like your target audience and what you want to advertise, and Jasper will help you do all the copywriting — based on top copywriters that are presumably internet-famous.

Ethics — or your thoughts?

Now, you might be thinking that this sounds too good to be true. And you wouldn’t be wrong — there are some potential drawbacks to using AI writing tools. For example, because these tools rely on large training data sets, they can sometimes produce inaccurate results. Also — what about the ethics of artificial intelligence? Earlier, a man who used MidJourney and added a few prompts to generate a piece of AI-completed artwork, and won the Colorado State Art Fair. Is that fair? Lots of artists (human ones) had been seriously complaining to the contest hosts. But who’s to blame?

Overall, AI writing tools are an amazing innovation that can help humans save time and energy. However, it’s important to be aware of their potential drawbacks.

P.S. Fun fact — this article was 90% written by Jasper (AI), and all pictures were generated by Stable Diffusion (also AI). Is this article original? Comment your thoughts below!
